Edward M. Brettholz, M.D. is a founding member of Kips Bay Endoscopy Center and is involved in cutting edge research trials in Hepatitis and other illnesses. He has a special interest and expertise in liver diseases, GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease), Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and hemorrhoid treatment.

Dr. Brettholz is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterologyand and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an Attending Physician at Beth Israel Medical Center and has coauthored several research articles published in leading medical journals.

In his private practice in Concorde Medical Group he has been consistently named to the New York Super Doctors list and was recently awarded the esteemed honor of fellowship by the American Gastroenterological Association.
